****** A Mircale (part 2) ******

" Very truly in the narrative of Joseph and his brothers are signs for those who inquire after truth." Quran, Part 12, verse 7.

Joseph's brothers went back to their father Prophet Jacob, and said " O our father! Truly we went racing and left Joseph with out belongings, and the wolf ate him! But never will you believe us, even if we are truthful." Prophet Jacob replied: "No! But it is your own souls that have tempted you to something. Yet nothing is left to me but Beautiful Patience! And God Alone is besought for help against all that you claim." Quran, part 12, verse 17 and 18.

The story of Joseph is manifested with signs of God's Greatness in His Creation and reveals the basic nature of people and their wickedness. Joseph's brothers were jealous of him because their father loved joseph so much that he could not go without his company and yearned for his son, Joseph, to always be close to him and around him. The brothers planned to kill him, so concocted a plan to take him out to the woods and kill him, and then make up a story to their Father, Jacob.

Side note: even your own blood can be swayed and tempted to do ill against because of their jealousy or lack of goodness in their hearts.

So, the brothers asked their Father to take him out, and Prophet Jacob did not want to let his son go because he worried about him, this shows the different level of love he had for his son because of their special bond to the point that Joseph's father did not want him out of his sight.

Side note: You love your kids, but when some of them grow up and some of them develop similar characteristics as you, the parent, sometimes your love grows even more for them, not to say you don't love your other kids but just have a special bond with one over the other.

The brothers convince their father to take Joseph out, so they take him and put him in a well. Afterward, the brothers went to Prophet Jacob, their father, and told him a wolf at him but you wouldn't believe us even if we were telling the truth. Prophet Jacob, a wise man, knew the jealousy the brothers harbored in their chests, and just like you know your kids, you know when they are not telling the truth.

Prophet Jacob replies so, unbelievably and remarkably, telling them something tempted to you from the bit of ill-will in their souls, but I have nothing except for ""beautiful patience.""

How can somebody just hit the news of his son's death, say all i have left is beautiful patience? Why patience, why not time? And, how can patience be beautiful?

Patience is a key element in our everyday lives and, absolutely critical, to overcoming obstacles in life and hardships. Because without patience, we would not be able to deal with not getting the exact job we worked hard and aimed to get, moving from a small crummy apartment to, finally, a descent house to raise a family, or even just driving in traffic for 45mn while, in your head, thinking if I only had a hummer, I would love to drive right through all of these cars and not even care. Time does not heal all wounds, rather patience does. Being patient for a certain amount of time, may heal some. However, ultimately, patience and coming to recognize that we do not have control over what happens or what will happen is, plainly, something we must do when somebody close or our kids suffer from a fatal disease or car accident. Is just not in our hands?

How can patience be beautiful? It's enough to hear news of your son dying, but then responding by saying not only will I be patient, but my patience will be beautiful. Well, first anybody that is able to be patient under those circumstances, news that knocks you to your feet, is beautiful. Anybody, in that position fights a very tough battle with themselves because, I know, if that situation, God Forbid, strikes any one of us, my reaction will be, most likely, anything but patient. Secondly, Prophet Jacob, being so wise, understood, to the bottom of his core, that we have control over nothing: what happens to our kids while they are out playing or what our future holds, will we fulfill our dreams or come up short, who knows what will happen 5 years down the line.

What was Prophet Jacob's solution or the way he dealt with such a calamity? Rather, than becoming angry at Joseph's brothers and blaming them and holding a grudge against his other kids holding that their the reason for Joseph's death and how could you be so stupid to leave him alone in such a dangerous place with wolves all over the place? He took a few moments to think of the effect of his reaction to such news will have on Joseph's brothers and on himself. Because, we all know, that everybody goes through one struggle or receives tough news one way or the other. It's all about how you deal with it that differentiates a person that will spend the rest of their lives blaming others for what happened or living miserably because of what happened. But, Prophet Jacob understood, to his core and in his heart, that he can not control what happens to Joseph every second of every minute of every hour of every day, its IMPOSSIBLE! Hence, he knew in his heart that God has Power over all things and if that is what God willed, then with it I will have ""beautiful patience."

At the end of the story of Joseph, a little synopsis: Joseph was picked up by a caravan driving by, becomes finance minister of an entire land, and the land that Prophet Jacob settled in suffered from a severe drought. But, the land that Joseph was finance minister was the only land with abundant food and drink. So, his father and brothers end up going to Joseph for food and water because there is no where else to get food from. And, in the end Joseph is back united with his beloved father, Prophet Jacob. Prophet Jacob put his whole hearted faith and trust in God knowing that everything happens for a reason and God does not leave any of us if we have faith and trust in HIM.

This is inspiration, and this is a story worth telling!

A History of Color

A History of Color

**** A Miracle - Kenny Stones ***

Nothing happens by coincidence. Chance is a poor myth. Walking through the door or attending an event that you somehow end up meeting somebody who knows a person you knew back in highschool, and both of you end up going to the cherro cart at the same precise time, and this person ends up offering you the job of your dreams is not by chance and not by coincidence. Everything happens for a reason, and nothing happens by chance. Chance is putting all of your hope in time.

Rather, put your hope in God who will put you at a specific place at a specific time to meet a specific person who gives you a specific gift. Giving credit to chance or coincidence is foolish and idiotic. People worship different Gods, subconsciously or consciously, whether it be money, clothes, cars, houses, or Jay-Z for that matter. If you are willing to do anything and everything to get something, then guess what you worship it. Endless examples exist from working night and day, saving every penny you can, or spending thousands of dollars on clothes to become a millionaire or a thousand-aire. If you really wanted to become a millionaire, and you plan accordingly, I have no doubt that each and every one of us can probably become millionaires.

Success is success of the heart, not of the tangible objects we attach to success. If your heart holds good intentions to become successful, and you put forth your intentions into actions and practice, then more than likely whatever your intention or notion of success is, you will attain it.

I'm at Lifetime Fitness playing basketball, and we lost. I do not like losing because I'm a little competitive, which is not always a good thing. Anyway, a guy on my team tells me who cares its just a game and not important. So, for some reason, I ask him what is? By "chance" he tells me going to heaven. A little taken aback, I say how are we going to get there if that is what is important? So, we get into this lengthy conversation about right and wrong.

Kenny Stones, was his name, may God bless him, told me I just can't, in my mind, think of anybody going to hell. He was a really cool dude, who went to church every sunday and his parents were from the south.  Anyway, I'm like if you have two people, one that struggles against himself to overcome the actions that he feels is wrong, everybody has different struggles, and consciously thinks about his actions and chooses not to engage in an action that he feels is wrong is equal to another person who does not care about his wrong actions and chooses to engage in conduct, like doing drugs and having sex with anything walking, without struggling and effortlessly does what he wants to or desires? Well are they? Equal?

The wealth of information, Kenny Stones, had was impressive to say the least. He had an intuitive sense of what right and wrong is. Told me that God cares about your heart. Told me that our souls all have a little wicked in it. Told me he struggled with himself to gain a little peace in his heart. Told me that people worship and follow many things, and gave me the example of Pharaoh and Prophet Moses as an example. Impressive!

We must apply logic and reason to everything. Logically, if I commit murder or steal, then I go to jail and that is my punishment. And, logically, if I let myself do whatever my little heart desires, whether wrong or not, then I will also be punishment. Just like, logically, if I work hard and bust my tail to achieve success, then I will become successful. And, reasonably, if I never study or just don't care, then I will be working a 12hr shift at Jewel or Starbucks. Reasonably, if I struggle against myself and do actions that are good and sincere in the face of temptations like sex, drugs, lying to make an extra hundred bucks, then, logically, I will go to Heaven!

Logic and Reason! Accountability! God Bless Kenny Stones and make him among the ones in heaven!

People Worship One THing: $ Money $

If you are looking at a problem, circumstance, or initiative, then more than likely the root of resulting collateral damage is money. Money is what drives policy. Money is what drives people, like Enron, to fraudulent behavior and cutting corners. Money is what drives politics. Money is what makes people get up in the morning, and what makes people do crazy things. And, because of money, orchestrated masks and illusions are created to distract people from the greedy inspiration of money. Orchestrated masks like accusing religion or a specific demographic for the problems plaguing us as a society, as a nation, and as people in this small world we call earth. Terrorism, Terrorism, 911, 911, and God Bless America! Look the other way, people, while we create monopolies and mountains of money and, put forth, policies giving tax breaks to people making over 250, 000 dollars. Does this not irk nobody else?

Obama is starting to negotiate with theses greedy pigs, corporate and insurance monopolies and worshipers of money, because he is, unfortunately, finding that he must break his rules and notion of fair policy to satisfy the enlarged appetites of these few pigs, who unfortunately hold the strings to this, catastrophe, horrid play of squeezing pennies out of the working American population who are unable to feed their kids and pay their bills.

Driving the wheel of policy is green flashy thousand dollar bills with shark teeth ready to pay enormous sums of money to political officials if they are willing to bend their moral values to allow or create certain legislature to put forth agendas cutting health care reform at the knees because, of what exactly, millions and millions of dollars are at stake.

Knowledge is the key to understanding dynamics, proximity, and the way the world works. The structure and the system, which we all hardly understand, billion dollar corporations such as insurance companies and gun manufacturers operate under and by is foreign because we do not have the knowledge to understand it or comprehend it. Why was Obama putting the U.S. chamber of commerce under scrutiny or attempted scrutiny to disclose where political campaign contributions are coming from? Because corporations and companies with millions of dollars to throw at these red suited idiots, republicans, are supporting policies that will help further their agenda, which is MONEY!

Muslims are a people that want to do the right thing. Creating places that will keep teenagers safe off of the streets that is infested with drugs, sex, and diseases that is, almost, in the air when you breath it. Muslims believe in heaven and accountability. You are responsible for your actions, so when you act, act in the best possible way you can. Purify your soul with doing the right thing, rather than living with no conscious. Muslims do not care for money because money taints a person's intentions of doing something and not doing something. The simple notions of don't steal, don't lie, don't do drugs and have sex with anything walking has evaporated in society and is destroyed. Now, Muslims are people of high character and spiritual ghandis, so instead of worshipping Money to get that second house or second car, do something else!

Fear and Loathing in the Nation

Fear is in the air, suffocating people like BO that just won't get away no matter how much febreeze you spray in that small confined area, and its not going away. As soon as we reach the BO free air to inhale some clean oxygen something, BO sneaks around the corner because once you go one way, BO will certainly try to take you the other way. What is quite startling is the fact that nobody seems to care about the significance and impact that the Republican mentality can reap, which is complete and utter havoc.

In the New York times, there was an article featuring the Black Water incident and the complexities surrounding the prosecution and jurisdictional issues. From my understanding, this organization or corporation is utilized by foreign ministers and important people to outsource private security and a number of other things, which I shall stay silent about. Nonetheless, an incident occurred where in Iraq, private contractors shot and killed 17 Iraqi citizens. Take a wild guess what their defense was, self defense! The U.S. Justice Department has been trying to prosecute and hold these individuals accountable for their actions, however its like trying to find the road in a middle of a forest in pitch darkness. First, these private contractors have immunity from the highest governmental officials. Second, there are jurisdictional issues because there is no law under state constitutions holding these individuals criminally liable. Under federal law, such law exists. This is a problem trying to be resolved in Congress, but to no surprise,  by addressing the need to pass legislation under State departments to hold these individuals responsible and accountable for having trigger happy fingers ready to shoot anything and everything, merely walking by. Congress is important. More importantly, it the individuals holding the seats in Congress.People must be held accountable for the actions they reap, and guess who gave these a**holes immunity, none other than Dick, Dick Cheney. Money drives power, and power drives the steering wheel of this county into ditches we cannot seem to get ourselves out of. Unemployment is at record highs, the dollar is weaker by the minute, exports are at an all time low, and China is taking over while all this happens. The movie "State of Play" was mainly based on the story of Blackwater and its powerful impact. Good Movie!

People like Christine O'Donell and this other lady, holding state and church should not be separated, and other absurd comments are, actually, winning these seats. They are going to be sitting putting in their vote to pass tax cuts on billion-air corporate profits and raising it on you and me--people making 100k and paying 30 of it to the government--while billion airs pay a few pennies while millions are at war and starve to death.

Fear is driving us into the deepest of oceans, and its only a matter of time before there are no more life vests to be given out. Wake up and smell the coffee!

Oiled Senate Wildlife -- RollingStone.com

Oiled Senate Wildlife -- RollingStone.com

Good senator ad!

The Invisible Wind

There is so much going on that its hard to even write about any one thing, however I am going to focus on this new wave, to smear Obama streak, the Republicans have been stroking for the past few days because of their newly founded pot of gold, the senate elections and the future pot of gold these leprechauns can not wait to hold onto once they, most likely, get the majority vote in the senate. Why is this happening, besides the grappling issues manifesting this shark feast? Obama inspired and motivated the young to get involved, to care about their futures and the stakes provoking their lost ambitions and goals, and rose up to tell them that your beliefs, values, and involvement is critical to our nation's growth, prosperity, and directional change that we so desperately need. However, unfortunately the voice of the young has not disappeared, but rather than shouting from the hills of freedom, we are, once again, whispering in the shadows.

A recent poll came out suggesting that for elections, that there is a severe decrease in support from the young, and especially democratic side of things, while the republicans are holding steadfast and ever-more strapping on their big boy belts, and ready to put it in their vote like a criminal offered freedom after being put on death row. Another poll, recently showed that most of us do not even trust the government to interfere, and would rather trust ourselves to make decisions facing us as country. The problem is not the federal budget spending frenzy, un-warranted accusations, but a problem of two things: Control and Information.

The greasy, money-hungry vultures will pounce on anything that looks dead and not moving. That is what we are doing, doing nothing! Once upon a time, a great time, in history long ago, a man would not stop, no matter how much fear the opposing side would try to instill, and no matter how much the opposing side accused them of false allegations, and no matter how hard things seemed to get, these men would stand in front of a nation of stubborn, ill-minded, pre-programmed people to shout the message, the message only. They never defended themselves, or their circumstances or the allegations they faced, but defended and proclaimed the message. The message centers on one central theme, and that is to benefit and bring good to the people AND prevent harm. Unfortunately, this Divine message is tainted by human nature, and its inclination towards their desires, whether it be greed, fame, pleasure, inflicting pain. Whatever the motivated human desire to attain higher posts or cast a human blanket over a culture or demographic to keep them controlled and suffocating. This is where we have lost ourselves from defending the message to defending ourselves and motivated desires. These bigots and vulture-mongering politicians and corporations are not as big as they think, and certainly not as smart as they think because one thing is always true---the clearly, evident truth will prevail most certainly, no matter how long they use media, human desire motivators, or even legislation law to drive their petty, and most certainly pocket-inspired policies.

The message is lets get back to our roots and find ourselves, and our compass driven mentality to proclaim from mountain-tops that there is One God deserving of our prayers, inspirations, and goals to overcome this very very poor world we live in today, and our only objective in life is to bring good and prevent harm. Very simply put, be a good person. Everything in the middle does not matter, and in the end only the truly good people are the ones that you find honored, dignified, and respected and the morally crippled shall never prevail, no matter how smart they are or how much they control.

Elections Catastrophic Potential Impact

Mid-term elections for the senate seats for class III seats up for grabs on capitol hill is, at the moment, in severe dispair and trouble because for the first time in history, republicans are actually perceiving and hoping, not to just win a few seats from every state, to win almost every seat in class III. What does all this mean? It means we are looking down the barrel of 17inch gauge shotgun to blow our heads off. If republicans win these seats that is coming up in a few weeks, it means capitol hill will be run by the green pig mentality, and have the majority vote. The senate and house of representatives is like the empire at a baseball game or the ref at a basketball game. How many refs do we know, we're able to turn a losing game into a victorious one. These two branches make up congress, and congress controls almost all legislative laws, driving regulations, the control to ease our way into the future or cause a five million car pileup because a bomb was just randomly dropped from the air on accident in the middle of a city full of people trying to get through this struggling economy, pay back student loans the size of states, and hope to keep their houses and cars---if the republicans get these seats in the house it will literally cause the next declination of the Roman Empire into shambles, with nothing but imaginary money and homeless people begging for change. Look at all the friction we are facing and Democrats hold the majority vote in the senate.

A brief breakdown of how this works. The house of representatives and the senate make up congress. Now, each state is given a number of senate seats depending on state and jurisdiction. The senate is made up of committees such as the Chamber of Commerce, Judicial Committees, and Relation Committees that oversee the executive branch and create legislative bills, laws, regulations upon which certain jurisdictions and states must, thereupon, enforce. You see the President does not choose the law, he can just choose to pass the bill or not to pass the bill. The root of legislative thought and the future lies within the hands of "a few good men," "you want the truth, you can't handle the truth," is truer than the rain that falls from the skies.

The senate and committees chose whether to submit a bill, stop a bill, elect people to these committees, etc.. This is pretty messed up because, in the past, there has always been a close fraction of democrats and republicans, but this will change with this new wave of republicans monopolizing the senatorial elections across the board. This is a big money generating, bullying fat-pocket bigots with hands so sticky that they dip their hands in a nation of honey to get their fat beaks so wet to turn the caucus into a gambling frenzy. This frenzy will include generating bills passing tax cuts to billionaires, profiting off of people's health, and using the debt derivative market, which is already so unregulated that it is like a robber walking into a bank on camera asking for people's money and taking it and walking out, to leverage the whole nation's future wealth on the central idea, which is finding on our own natural resources such as OIL and become independent, that we do not depend on a foreign supply of anything. Do you really think republicans give a rats anything about the employment rate or the middle class, which by the way are taxed higher than most millionaires with companies.

The green pig mentality crashing on the ripples of President Obama's so-called low blow accusing the US chamber of commerce of using foreign currency to aid political campaigns and help raise funds to put these green pigs in senate seats. The main issues right now we are facing is tax cut provisions, astronomical spending by the federal budget for defense. These green pigs are, now, blaming Obama for all these mishaps, even if Obama is not as clean as white paper, he certainly is not as dirty as most, if not all, of people on capitol hill. How can you blame unemployment rates, tax provisions, etc. on Obama? What about 8 years of Bush's signing every bill that passed by his fat little finger providing expansive spending budgets on defense contracts on wars on almost every country, even countries he accidentally confused on national television? This is 2 years of trying to heal the 8 years of Bush brutally massacring every living and non-living thing known to man, while he smokes big fat cigars.

What is happening is years of playing the game of illusion and hiding the ball, that finally its all coming to the surface because how long can you go with creating all of these mysterious reasons to go to war and spend billions of dollars on stuff, and keep loading your pockets and taking cash. In an article, about settlement negotiations in Jerusalem, the Israeli president stated, " I do not know why we are talking about the settlement negotiations at all, we should keep our eyes focused on peace talks." This is the driving theme of our governmental policy, initiative, and every bigot leading this world into crumbles is keeping our eyes off of the real issue and shining light on all of these small, and unimportant issues to steer away from why is the richest nation in the world, dead BROKE after ten years? Clinton years was fruitful, and after Bush money has been depleted. Lets ask the right questions and VOTE for Alex G. for senate seat of Illinois.

Obscene Tax Break Survives Again -- RollingStone.com

CoffeeHouse

Walking down the street at State and Jackson, a guy is playing the violin in a poetic manner inspiring raising up the senses of people walking by, so much so, that he attracts a large group standing around admiring the musical rhythm and flow as he strings his violin. So, I sit down for a moment, grab the new city paper and found a column, called Coffehouse.

Coffeehouse is an idea, an inspiration, and place where great journalists and writers came to an air free of judgment, banter, and restless minds to speak and share ideas of democracy and inspirational dialoguse of encounters and prolonging their vibrant minds instead of going home and sitting on the coach to watch the next episode of Entourage-which by the way I loved, until I found myself wanting everything and anything this earth has to offer including expensive cars, lavish lifestyles, and I kind of thought of buying a city or two afterwards. Coffeehouse was located on the corner of Elm street in Evanston and opened up during the sixties, a time when people were inspired and grabbed life by the balls to voice their opinions about situations and events. Time period before President Clinton and during Bush Sr., not Jr-with no mental balls whatsoever, only Sr.'s directional balls. Coffee inspired energy when the Gulf War was enveloping the streets like leaves spinning in the wind in a circular motion- same leaves, same spot, just circulating.
Coffee inspired by energy to change the world we live in for the better.

In criminal law, the law presumes you know it, and ignorance of the law is no excuse. The law puts the duty upon people of the state to inquire about what the law is and whether their conduct breaks the law or not. It also holds people to what they intended. The law prescribes the duty of every individual to choose between right and wrong because wrongful conduct spurs from one's choice to do wrong. Which made me think about whether we ever really question our intentions behind doing the things we do or  the intent behind the actions we do. Intention drives actions. So, don't we have duty to inquire the difference. Just like this violin player playing the music to the air, attracting people to stop and listen, to inquire, we need to inquire into the truth of what is going on in today's wars that is impoverishing our souls, minds, and bodies. The moral of the story is think about what you do before you do it, and maybe you can make the world a better place. So, lets choose to do what is right for a change! What are you going to choose?

Tribute to Obama Man

The saying that says, "people are in essence so argumentative," is as true as there is day and night with the sun rising in the east and settling in the west. President Obama's ratings are down, and this is a man, rolled up sleeves and a zealous agenda implementer, who has done more for our country and has battled the fiercest of times in history, yet we still hold him hostage to our natural inclination to find him below our standards of what we think a good president should do. I can bet Obama is thinking, "what about a thank you for creating a stimulus package that saved us from kissing dirt, passing a health care reform bill that is a historical monument in legislative history in order to save the millions of human lives (poor and middle class) dying every day because of lack of health care-health care that the republicans fear will spoil the millions of dollars they receive from pharmaceutical and biotechnological lobbyists, and enforcing one of the strictest monetary policies in history to hold these green pigs accountable changing this "turning the cheek mentality" that has engulfed and diseased and impoverished this, once upon a time, great nation. What about this people, on the count of three, all at once, "thank you President Obama."

Talk about never being able to satisfy everybody because it is plainly, apparently, and blindly true that there is always, i mean always, a group or organization that will not like what you have to say or the agenda you are trying to provide no matter how beneficial it may be. This brings me to my next point, which separates the men from the boys. Boys are puppets, who follow their leader because he has a mustache and a fifty acre homestead in the county, that no matter what their agenda or plan is, who will indefinitely fold to peer pressure and have their ears and mouths wide open so long as they are fed with big fat payoffs and lucrative stock options. A great quote from Mother Teresa, “People are often unreasonable and self-centered. Forgive them anyway. If you are kind, people may accuse you of ulterior motives. Be Kind anyway. If you are honest, people may cheat you. Be Honest anyway. If you find happiness, people may be jealous. Be happy anyway. The Good you do today, May be forgotten Tomorrow. Do Good Anyway. For you see, in the end, it is between you and God. It never was between you and them anyway.” Wisdom in concise words, that speaks volumes and volumes. This is my tribute to Obama, a Man of high principles and moral character who remembers the reasons why he wanted and motive to becoming President to begin with. To change the world for the better only! Not tainted by green pigs and peer pressure, and holding onto his character with his nails and teeth. A comforting thought is the person who stays steadfast on the road of high character and change always, i mean always, faces the nasty words and nasty shots to bring that person down or submit to the road of submission rather than standing tall. Every great person has faced a stubborn nation.

This is a leader who seeks the advice of his council, claims and believes to be better than no one, taking a salary that is less than most average high positioned corporate managers, addresses the people to seek their benefit and address their needs, and putting forth agendas/ educational,scientific,kids/ to actually better us for once. Keep them sleeves up Obama and keep doing what you’re doing, You’re the man!

P.S. Just to show his character, Obama has almost fired every green pig around him to really help change the world and its future. If you can’t beat them, F’em!

Slain Airman Recalled Fondly

Opening the newspaper just taking a look at the current events from local to national is just jaw dropping. If words can act  or live, my newspaper would have shook my house, shattered my glass windows, and left me there hungry with nothing but dirt and dust on my clothes with the news headline reading, "wake the fuck up!" The name of the hour, unfortunately you sacrifice it all and that is all you get from these green pigs, is a 23yr old male by the name of Dan Johnson. Poor Dan Johnson exchanging his family, friends, breath for a small article in the Tribune hiding on the side of pg. 6, and right beside this column using the words "recalled fondly," a description a training dog does not even deserve, is a big giant advertisement from Macys proclaiming their green pig mentality, a mentality that exchanges human lives for a green piece of paper called money, inducing people to come into their great luxurious stores to spend more of their hard earned money because of what: "It's Our GREAT SUIT SALE." A man who gave his life for the sake of his beliefs and country, who served on the U.S. Air Force, gets a one and half inch corner on this news page. You are only "recalled fondly," so that is our gift to you, a little dribble. Unless, we wake up to this ridiculous chess game being played, our grandchildren are going to be suffering from this green pig mentality, fueling wars and expensive contracts to create the need to borrow at an interest rate resulting in more money in the pockets of the financial industry and a handful of people, that is resulting in absolutely nothing. Nothing is better than the results of three wars for democracy because the so-called enemies, the people we are killing on a daily basis, are also the people (so-called enemies) we are helping to create a democracy so they can experience the freedoms we have. Four words for you, "Wake the Fuck Up!" Sorry for my french, I normally do not use such language, but when it comes to stuff like this sometimes impulsive reactions tend to get the best of you.

Three wars = no oil, no natural resources, no democracy, no results. Three wars = economic depression, dead human lives, nationwide chaos. One of the greatest movies, Die Hard With A Vengeance starring Bruce Willis, terrorists threatened the whole city with bomb threats at schools and had every police officer running on a wild goose chase, while the reality of it was the Russians (terrorists in the movie) were stealing billions and billions of dollars from the Federal Reserve Bank of New York City (Fort Knox). This is exactly what is happening now, except the Russians are wearing pretty suits and red ties (the green pigs) and threatening the whole nation of terrorism, while they are stealing Fort Knox. Wake Up people!

Loose Lips Sinks Ships

Loose Lips Sinks Ships
The Chicago reader featured an article discussing, a historical moment in Britian, the age of espionage where spies from Germany would integrate themselves into the trade of goods to relate intelligence information. German spies posed as merchants in Britian exporting goods coded with intelligence back to Germany. The spies would just hang around the docks with their ears to the floor listening to whatever useful information falls loosely off of the lips that may be used to their advantage. Most spies were caught, however the ones who held a low profile survived. Afterwards, the idea of loose lips sinks ships signaled a reformation of British dialogue between its citizens; the British citizens were warned to tighten their lips- holding them liable for what they say. The phrase caught my attention, and until now is stuck in my head.

It signifies, so much more than a moment in history; it was a transition or reformation of ideas and principles, a moment that amplified the need of accountability and responsibility. The notion of accountability for our actions and the words that form on our lips, transmitting waves upon the ears of others has disseminated. The greatest man in history was asked, “How do I get to heaven?” He replied, “Control what is between your lips and between your legs.” A two-prong test to attain the greatest and only successful goal we all hope to achieve. The tongue is one of man’s greatest vices or greatest enemy.

All we do is chit-chat about mindless banter leading us nowhere, and being nowhere, in reality, means falling backwards or forwards finding nothing to break your fall except a huge mortgage, stacked bills, wondering when the week will finally be over. This is a problem we face every day. Feeling like time is not on our side is a problem because we do not put forth the effort to form a word or thought worth speaking. A great saying, and followed practice, is, “If you do not having anything good to say, then say nothing at all.”  Imagine a society, where if you waste your tongue’s time speaking of something that: provides no benefit to others listening to it, does not further an idea or notion to better ourselves, or some material or spiritual profit; your tongue would be imprisoned for a specific time period. On the flipside of that same coin, imagine a society flourishing with profitable conversations spurring thoughts of uplifting moral standards and material gains beneficial to society as whole, and pleasant to the air carrying these conversations.

Saying something good is saying something, worthwhile, to benefit a cause or propel an initiative to accomplish an objective on an agenda or plan to achieve a larger purpose for humanity, a social cause, and even yourself- involving yourself in meaningful conversations discussing something of spiritual, social, or beneficial relevance propels your cause- every person is greedy but how we channel that greed is the difference between freedom and war. I find myself talking about sports or something I saw on television, but that conversation is leading me nowhere, not motivational to others, and a time freezer (feeling every minute go by).  The domino effect of such a trivial notion can have an earthquake-like effect, if only we took the time to think about its consequence and benefits. This little phrase, “loose lips sink ships,” is astronomical.

The human nature element of serving a purpose and direction, today, is like a compass that is broken, with north facing south and east facing west, but nobody has the knowledge or the time to acknowledge and recognize its desperate need of repair. This broken compass is leading humanity to nowhere. In the past, civilization had a natural urge to discover their being and took the time to endeavor in a search of truth to unveil new monuments and find new ways to define their purpose. People like Socrates, Joseph Conrad, and so many others that were so thirsty for knowledge and discovery. Now, we search for ways not to have to get off of the coach to get the remote hoping to reach it with our foot. They committed themselves to their purpose. I have a new found respect for socartes because I never really understood what he meant by, “Unexamined life is not worth living.” However, it’s not only not worth living, but detrimental  to our lives and future like the sun that shines everyday so perfectly distanced to provide us perfect comfort.  An unexamined life makes time your enemy, rather than your friend. Loose lips lose time. If you’ve lost time, you’ve lost it all. Control those lips and serve your purpose, and with that you will find time slipping through your fingers with ease becoming your friend. The Divine message encoded in these simple words, loose lips sinks ships, is we will be held accountable for the things we say and do; and true freedom lies in taking the time to think about and contemplate a good thing to say or propel an action that will provide benefit to someone other than you.

The Medal of Honor

President Obama awarded the Medal of Honor to a fellow citizen by the name of Sgt. Robert J. Miller, a courageous man with a sense of purpose and values, for saving the lives of so many that, without this single action by Mr. Miller, would have died a gruesome death because of the fear and war that fill the air of our streets. Specifically written was the statement that "in 2008 after exposing himself to enemy fire and saving the lives of more than 20 U.S. and Afghan Troops."

The question that I keep asking myself is how can human nature be so stubborn and so reluctant to take a different course of action when everything is clearly pointing and shouting at us to take a different course of action, however we insist on taking actions that only reaps the Great Depression, the loss of our troops on foreign and  incomprehensible soil, raising the population to new heights of unemployment and crime, which reaps nothing but people running around with their pants around their ankles reaching to the bottom of their pockets searching for a few dollars to save for their newly born's education - costing $500,000 rather than the current $100,000 that it costs. It seems plain ridiculous, however this mind set is the prevailing beliefs of people all over the place.
The question we should be asking is why is all this happening even though it is killing our past, present and future, both, literally and financially . The facts and evidence prevail only one conclusion. The facts are the sub-prime mortgage era, which pitched, to Americans all over the nation, the American dream of a yellow-picketed fence with a golden retriever and in bright black bold letters on the mailbox, "The Smiths," as exchange people's long-term debt and dreams for their own, the financial industry, greedy and self-loathing pockets, which already has a pocket full of thousand dollar bills with each one of our names on it. How much more of this can we take and stay silent." The pure and evident reason is greed. And, I'm sorry Getko, greed is not good. The most watched movie about ethical boundaries and morality, Wallstreet featuring Micheal Douglas, is exactly what is leading this country at the moment-greed is good to almost every big corporation CEO and congressman. Let's coin these greedy people as, "the green pigs." These green pigs are all for the notion of patriotism and war, so long as the money keeps flowing in with defense contracts fueling the banking and financial industry to do what exactly? Fill the mouths of these green pigs.

The point is we need more people like Sgt. Robert Miller, who not only had a voice, but woke up that morning and put on his uniform with pride, and understanding his purpose is to protect and serve. The green pigs notion is fool and collect the minds and money of so many of us. I tip my hat to Mr. Miller for having the courage, not only to put that uniform on proclaiming courage, but also performing the actions that uniform represents. My heart goes out to the family of Mr. Miller and his friends; we are in desperate need of more people with the guts to call out the elephant in the room and jump at the chance to say what is right and what is wrong- it is the duty of every one of us!

Free Speech

The resources available at our fingertips, literally, creates vast opportunities and methods, which can be used as a tool to contra media coverage or news articles that are offensive or issues in the news that are so obviously prejudicial or false that a monkey probably can recognize. However, the state of humanity and the motivation to seek knowledge to fulfill higher pleasures are nearly extinct. We are living a dinosaur age with laptops and free internet access almost everywhere we go. Creatures the size of buildings are squashing freedom of ideas and inhibiting the minds of millions, disguised under the mask of media and the ancient idea of a repetitive showing of what we should see as threatening or view as a social disease and impediment,  is being used. What are we doing? Sitting, complaining, and implementing no actions and providing no clear means by which the viewers can see the other side of the issue or show them other sources of information that different perceptions can be derived from. I was raised with the idea that I have the right to say whatever I want and freedom to express whatever ideas my little heart desires without anybody holding it against me. Three words, "First Amendment Right!"
When meida coverage blindly shows two people with beards and wearing islamic like clothing saying such retarded things that are so far from true, and most likely made up, most of us just tend to knodd our heads from left to right for about a minute or so then go about our day complaining about the unfairness of the system. In the founding years of any civilization, the power of the pen was recognized and people ran to write their thoughts on paper and spread it around to convince people of what they are thinking and believing or just promoting their ideas and business ventures. The power of the pen has dissappeared, but its time for us to put the pen back on paper.
